We know you're busy, so we have made registration quick and easy. Click on the "register now" button the the lefthand side of any page. You will be asked to choose a profile type from individual, for-profit company or non-profit organization. Once you have chosen your profile type, simply enter your name, username and email where prompted, choose a password and you're done. You may now begin building out your profile, promoting yourself in the marketplace, sharing ideas with other creatives, and soaking up smart content from creative leaders. What are the different types of membership? The Idea Idea EngineSM offers two membership and three profile types. Membership as a creative service professional You will benefit from this membership if you provide creative services to the marketplace. The creative services industry includes marketing, communications, advertising and related industries. More specifically (in no particular order): graphic designers, copywriters, project managers, account service writers, brand planners, pr folks, naming experts, illustrators, animators, WOM experts, SEO experts, consultants, speakers, trainers, producers, art directors, creative directors, Interactive/print designers, stylists, web designers and programmers, interactive FLASH/designers, photographers, and anyone else involved in providing a creative service Membership as a creative service buyer You will benefit from this membership if you are a businessperson, company, entrepreneur, non-profit leader or individual in need of reliable creative service providers. Perhaps you are looking for an individual, company or organization that provides ancillary, but important services related to the creative services industry. Such as: Mailing lists, printing services, product fulfillment, publishing, market research and analytics, uniforms, tradeshow supplies, direct mail marketing, software, office supplies, specialty items, marketing teams, signage and more. We also offer three profile types: invididual, for-profit company and non-profit organization. Choose an individual membership if you are freelancer or single employee sole proprietor. Choose a for-profit company profile if you own or are involved in a company with more than one employee. Choose non-profit organization if you qualify as a legal non-profit entity. Is membership free? All membership is free during our Beta phase. We are working diligently to make our Idea EngineSM more than a social network or jobs site. It will be a utility for finding the best talent, trusted resources, and creative stimulation, as well as inspiration and education. After Beta, some fees may apply to enhanced services. However, we will always have a FREE version of the site. What if I have trouble signing up? If you are having issues registering, we suggest you clear your browser's cache and cookies and attempt to login again. If you are unable to sign up because you are told your email is in use, click on the "lost password" link below the login box, and a new password will be sent to you at that address. You may then use the new password to sign in and modify that account, or you may cancel the and re-register using your email address. If you still have trouble registering, use our contact form to ask us directly. We will work through any registration issues and get you started using the Idea EngineSM. Can I sign up for more than one type of account? You may sign up for one profile per unique email. For example, you may sign up for an individual account with a personal email and a company account with a work email. You may not sign up for more than one account with the same email address. I want to sign up for an individual and company account. Can I use the same email? No. You have to use a unique email for each profle you set up. Can I enter a company or service provider in the Marketplace if I am not affiliated? Yes. For example, if you have employed a company, organization or service provider and would like the opportunity to share this resource with the Oddpodz community, you can create an entry and post a review. However, this entry will be classified as "Uncertified." In order for a Creative Services Marketplace entry to be certified, the URL of the email address used to register must match the company URL, or the affiliation will be verified by Oddpodz. How do I claim a Marketplace entry for my business that has been entered by someone else? Find your business's entry in the Creative Services Marketplace. In the top right hand corner of the entry, there will be a link that says, "This is my business. Claim it now." Click that link and follow the directions. How do I change my password? If you know your current password, login and choose "Edit info & settings" from the menu on the left hand side of your screen. You will be taken to a page called "Edit Your Details." Select the "Contact Info" tab. There you may update your email, password and other personal information. I forgot my password. If you have lost your password, choose the"lost password" link under the login box and a new one will be sent to the email you used to register. You can log in with the temporary password then create a new password by choosing "Edit info & settings" from the menu on the left hand side of your screen. You will be taken to a page called "Edit Your Details." Select the "Contact Info" tab. There you may update your email, password and other personal information. How do I change my email? Login to your account and choose "edit info and settings" from the menu on the left hand side of your screen. You will be taken to a page where you may update your email, password and other personal information. How do I report a bug or site error? If you are a member, you may login and post a problem in the bugs, errors and issues section of our forums. Members and non-members may also use our contact form to report a serious error directly to us. I have a suggestion. If you are a member, you may login and post a suggestion in the enhancements and suggestions section of our forums. Members and non-members may also send suggestions

. How do I report copyright infringement? According to Oddpodz Terms of Use: Under United States Federal law, you retain copyright on all works you create and post to the Groups, Forums, Profiles, and Directories unless you choose specifically to renounce it. In posting a work on the Groups or Forums, you authorize other members who have access to that service to make personal and customary use of the work, including creating links or reposting, but not otherwise to reproduce or disseminate it unless you give permission for such dissemination. You also give permission to Oddpodz to copy your works as part of the normal backup process. You have the right to remove any of your works from the Groups or Forums at any time. . Where can I report inappropriate content? According to Oddpodz Terms of Use: If you have a complaint about the behavior or posts of another member, it is your responsibility to attempt to resolve the conflict, typically by contacting that person directly. Normally, Oddpodz.com staff will not take a role in mediating conflicts between you and other members. Oddpodz.com does not take responsibility for your behavior or that of other members. Notwithstanding the foregoing, should such a complaint or conflict arise, the member or members may request that Oddpodz.com moderator intervene and attempt to resolve any dispute. Any such request is not a guarantee that a moderator will (i) intervene, (ii) intervene in a timely manner, (iii) resolve the dispute in favor of one party or the other, or (iv) successfully resolve the situation.
